For over a decade, Chaiken has been archivist to filmmakers Josh and Benny Safdie, directors of Daddy Longlegs, Heaven Knows What, Good Time, and Uncut Gems. After documenting the brothers in 2016 for the Criterion Channel’s Meet the Filmmaker series, Chaiken went on to produce several of their Blu-Ray and DVD releases for the Criterion Collection. He is currently working on a book titled The Internal World of Uncut Gems for HarperCollins centered around new interviews and unseen material from the Safdie Brothers Archive.
