In 2014, Chaiken was hired by author Nick Tosches to catalog his manuscripts, correspondence, and research materials from his earliest published writing for Zoot, New Haven Rock Press, and Creem magazine, to his acclaimed biographies of Jerry Lee Lewis and Dean Martin.
