In 2011, Chaiken worked with filmmaker Nick Zedd in organizing his archive of film negatives, prints, scrapbooks, photographs, juvenilia, writing, and self-produced ‘zines. Zedd, founder and editor in the mid-1980’s of the Underground Film Bulletin, was the galvanizing force behind New York’s Cinema of Transgression movement. On behalf of Zedd and his wife, artist Monica Casanova, Chaiken sold Zedd’s archive to Fales Library’s Downtown Collection at NYU Special Collections.
